Hi My Name Is... Hi My Name Is...

Sir Peanut Butter III

Where to begin, where.to.begin??? There is so much to say about the little canine that I am truly at a loss of how to bestow upon you, the greatness that is this shining little star. Ok, well not that much of a loss.

I supposed I should tell you that before PB even came to me, he had his name (as does his sister- who hasn't come to me yet, but that's another post for another time, but you can guess- her moniker is... Jelle'). For three years I wanted a dog (yes, me, Scary Mary - not my real name- who grew up afraid of dogs, will have to tell you how I had a panic attack when my step sister's Pomeranian fell on my head in the back seat of a '75 Caddy on Linden Blvd in the early 80s at another time). Sir Peanut Butter III's name came to me in a dream. I knew that he would have to be a Yorkshire Terrier because that is my most favoritest breed in the world. So while I was basking in R.E.M. Peanut Butter's name popped up and gave life to what would some day be my son, or as the crazy old ladies on the Yorkie listserve (another story, another time) like to say: furkid.

As for the "Sir," Peanut Butter would undoubtedly have to be a knight being from the historic county of Yorkshire in Northern New England. And for the III - there is no official PB I or II, but I thought it just had a regal ring to it... So alas, now you understand how PB got his name.
